Vermont State Hospital of the Vermont State Hospital for the Insane was a Vermont mental institution in Waterbury, Vermont.
It was built in 1890 in Waterbury, Vermont as the Brattleboro Retreat became overcrowded. It was closed on October 29, 2011.
